Waiting Room is a bittersweet, introspective novel about fractured lives, missed chances, and the quiet, bitter truths that surface when time runs out. The story follows two men — one raised in the shadow of absence, the other unaware of his father’s secret past — who finally meet  as their father lies in critical condition. Over the course of a single day and night, they piece together a shared history neither of them chose, through awkward conversation, old letters, photographs, and emotionally charged flashbacks.

With each chapter, readers journey deeper into the lives of these two men and the ghost of a man they barely knew: small talk gives way to deeper conversation. Tension builds, and truths unravel. Through a series of fragmented flashbacks, memories surface: of their own mothers , missed birthdays, lost letters, and a father who loved in his way.

Scream (2027)

Format: Illustrated book
Release Date: Unreleased

SCREAM is a striking and emotionally resonant illustrated story brought to life by the talented and poetic hand of Daniel Cucinella. With his signature blend of whimsical charm and haunting clarity, Cucinella captures the raw, human experience of holding in what needs to be let out.

The story follows a character whose scream—born from being unseen, unheard, and misunderstood—grows larger and louder with every passing moment. What starts as a whisper of frustration evolves into a towering force of expression, echoing through cities, across oceans, and finally…into the silent void of space. There, in the absence of sound, the main character experiences an unexpected epiphany.

Touching and subtly sarcastic, SCREAM walks the fine line between childlike honesty and adult complexity. With layered illustrations and poetic rhythm, this book speaks to readers of all ages—encouraging kids to name their feelings, and inviting adults to remember the ones they’ve buried.
